General Duty Assistant - Healthcare (GDA) is also known as "Nursing Care Assistant". "Nursing Assistant, & Nursing Aide", when working in a hospital environment. This course is approved by the National Skill development, corporation (NSDCI and certified by the Healthcare Sector Skill council HSSC) Govt of India. A General duty assistant (GDA) works closely with doctors, nurses and other health care providers. During the training, students will learn to provide basic nursing care, look after patients comfort, safety and health needs. This skll course lays an emphasis on inculcating empathetic and ethical behavior in patient care.
7 months of theory and practical’s ( for hostellers and day scholars) followed by 5 months of internship in the Basel Mission CSI hospital for (hostellers).
Ample employment opportunities are available to provide quality home care, as well health care services as "Nurse Aides” or "Nursing Assistants" in hospital.
Candidate must visit the institution along with all the documents in person and get admission.
